GamePad ControllerThese Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the GamePad Controller mobile application ("the App"), developed and published by CauGiay Hotel ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What the App is — and is not
GamePad Controller turns your phone into an on-screen game controller (D-pad, action buttons, shoulder buttons) and helps you find and label devices on your local Wi-Fi network so you can keep track of a console's local network address.
The App does not:
- stream games or video from any console to your phone, or from your phone to any console;
- provide remote play, remote control, or any real-time input control of a physical game console;
- unlock, modify, jailbreak, or otherwise interact with the internal software of any console;
- come bundled with, or provide access to, any copyrighted game, ROM, or console firmware.
Any labels used inside the App such as "PS" or "console" refer generically to a handheld/console-style control layout and to consumer game consoles in general. They are descriptive terms, not claims of affiliation.
2. No affiliation
GamePad Controller is an independent, unofficial accessory application. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, PlayStation, Microsoft, Nintendo, or any console or hardware manufacturer. All trademarks, product names, and company names referenced in the App or its marketing materials (if any) belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility or context.
3. License to use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not give you any ownership of the App itself.
4. Ownership
The App, including its design, user interface, icons, artwork, and underlying code, is owned by CauGiay Hotel or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license above, we reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- use the App only on networks and devices you are authorized to access;
- not use the App's network-discovery feature to access, probe, or interfere with devices you do not own or do not have permission to interact with;
- not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- not use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the App or interfere with any other party's use of it.
6. Copyright and intellectual-property complaints
The App is a local utility: any images, videos, or files you view or configure within the App reside on your own device, and the App does not host, transmit, or distribute third-party content on our servers. If you believe content associated with the App infringes your intellectual-property rights, please contact us at cghotel1206@gmail.com with a description of the material and your rights in it, and we will review and respond to your complaint.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will successfully discover every console on every network configuration.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CauGiay Hotel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; the updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under local law.
