CauGiay Hotel ("we", "us", "our") develops WheelDecider (the "App"), an Android app for spinning a customizable decision wheel, playing three light-weight mini-games, and collecting cosmetic items with in-game virtual coins. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App and the services it uses collect, why, and how you can control it.
This policy describes WheelDecider as built, including the advertising and analytics software development kits (SDKs) already included in the app, whether or not ads are turned on for your particular version.
1. Data that never leaves your device
The following is stored only in the App's private storage on your device, using Android's local DataStore/preferences mechanism. We do not operate a server that receives it, and it is not shared with any third party:
- Your wheels — names, options, and chosen colors that you create.
- Your game progress — rank, virtual coins earned by playing, and any collectible items you've unlocked.
- Your avatar photo, if you choose to set one. You pick it using the Android system photo picker, which does not require the App to ask for storage/photos permission; the selected image is copied into the App's private folder on your device and is never uploaded anywhere.
- App preferences — theme, text size, and sound/music on-off settings.
Uninstalling the App, or clearing its storage in Android Settings, permanently deletes all of the above (see our Data Deletion page).
2. Data collected through third-party services
WheelDecider uses the following third-party SDKs. Some of them may access your device's advertising identifier or send us diagnostic/usage data. We list every SDK compiled into the App, even if a particular feature (such as ads) is not turned on in your build yet, because the underlying SDKs and permissions are already present.
| Service | What it may collect | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase Analytics | App usage events, device and advertising identifiers, general locale/language | Understand how the App is used, so we can improve it |
| Google Firebase Crashlytics | Crash reports, stack traces, device model and OS version | Find and fix bugs |
| Google Firebase Remote Config | Device/app identifiers needed to fetch configuration | Deliver feature and ad-serving settings without an app update |
| Google Firebase Cloud Messaging | A device notification token (only if you allow notifications) | Send you notifications, e.g. about your wheels |
| Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and AppLovin MAX mediation | Advertising ID, device signals, ad interaction data | Show and measure advertising |
| Meta (Facebook) SDK | Advertising ID, install/app events | Advertising and install attribution |
| Adjust | Advertising ID, install referrer, device signals | Attribute app installs to the marketing that led to them |
| TikTok Business SDK | Advertising ID, device/app events | Advertising measurement and install attribution |
| Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) | No personal data of its own | Shows the consent dialog required in the EEA/UK before the SDKs above are allowed to run |
These providers act as independent controllers or processors for the data they collect and are bound by their own privacy policies: Google · Firebase · AdMob · AppLovin · Meta · Adjust · TikTok Business.
3. Advertising identifier and your choices
On Android, apps that show ads or measure installs typically use the Advertising ID (or, on newer Android versions, the Privacy Sandbox attribution APIs) instead of anything that identifies you personally by name. You can reset this identifier or opt out of personalized ads at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ads (wording varies by Android version and OEM). Where legally required (e.g., in the EEA/UK), the consent dialog described above lets you choose whether these SDKs are allowed to use your data for advertising purposes at all.
4. Permissions the App requests
| Permission | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Internet / network state / Wi-Fi state | Required by the services in section 2 to function |
| Advertising ID (AD_ID) and Privacy Sandbox ad-services permissions | Advertising and attribution measurement (sections 2–3) |
| Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) | Asked after your first wheel spin, only if you allow it; used to send you notifications |
| Vibration | Haptic feedback when you interact with the wheel — collects no data |
| Billing (com.android.vending.BILLING) | Infrastructure used by our advertising library to check ad-free status. WheelDecider does not currently sell anything — there is no purchase screen in the App. |
We do not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, SMS, or photo/storage permissions.
5. Virtual currency
Coins earned in the wheel-spin and mining mini-games are entertainment-only virtual currency generated by the App. They are unrelated to any cryptocurrency, cannot be purchased, and cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or any other asset.
6. Children's privacy
WheelDecider is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us using the details in section 9 and we will take appropriate action.
7. Data retention
On-device data (section 1) stays on your device until you delete it yourself or uninstall the App. Data collected by the third-party services in section 2 is retained according to each provider's own retention policies; we do not separately store copies of it.
8. Your rights and how to exercise them
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data associated with you, or to object to certain processing. Because most App data lives only on your device, you can exercise most of these rights yourself, at any time, by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling it, and by using your device's Ad Settings to reset/opt out of the advertising identifier. For anything else — including requests about data held by our third-party providers that you can't resolve yourself — contact us using section 9, or see our Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions.

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add a new feature or SDK. We will update the "Effective date" above when we do. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
