Data Deletion

VolumeDial · Effective date: September 16, 2026

VolumeDial does not have user accounts or sign-in, so there is no account to delete. This page explains how to remove the data the App does hold, split into what stays on your device and what Firebase (our analytics/crash-reporting provider) may hold.

1. Data stored only on your device

Your settings, dial styles, presets, excluded-app list, and any background image/GIF/font you picked are stored entirely in the App’s private storage on your device. To remove all of it yourself, at any time:

  1. Open Android Settings → Apps → VolumeDial → Storage, then tap Clear storage / Clear data — this deletes all locally saved settings, presets, and imported files immediately; or
  2. Uninstall VolumeDial — this removes the App and all of its locally stored data from your device.

No confirmation from us is needed for either action, since this data never leaves your device.

2. Data processed by Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config)

The App uses Google Firebase for basic analytics and crash reporting (see our Privacy Policy § 3). This data is tied to your device/install, not to a personal account, because VolumeDial has no login system. To request deletion of this data:

  1. Email us at cghotel1206@gmail.com with the subject “VolumeDial data deletion request”.
  2. Include the approximate date(s) you used the App and your device model, so we can help Google/Firebase locate the relevant install-level records.
  3. We will forward your request to Google/Firebase and confirm with you once it has been processed. Typical processing time is up to 30 days, consistent with Firebase’s own data-deletion timelines.

You can also stop new analytics/crash data from being generated at any time simply by uninstalling the App — no data is collected once the App is removed from your device.
