Terms of Use — Tilt Veil

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and CauGiay Hotel ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the Android application Tilt Veil (package com.privacyscreen.tiltdim.tiltveil, the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

Tilt Veil is a screen-privacy utility that dims or patterns your screen based on how far you tilt your device, to make it harder for people nearby to view your screen at an angle. The App runs entirely on your device, requires no account, and does not sell any product, subscription, or in-app item.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. This license does not give you any ownership interest in the App.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except where applicable law permits it notwithstanding this restriction;
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App;
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App;
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes the rights of others (see §4);
• Use the App to conceal a screen from a device's rightful owner or administrator without their consent (for example, to hide activity from a device that is not yours);
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or any systems used to distribute it.

4. Copyright and intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Tilt Veil does not host, store, or transmit any user-created content or files — it is a local, device-only utility — so there is no user-generated content on which a third party's copyright could be infringed through the App.

If you believe anything distributed as part of the App itself infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, contact us at cghotel1206@gmail.com with (a) identification of the work you claim is infringed, (b) identification of the material you claim is infringing, and (c) your contact information. We will review and respond to good-faith notices.

5. Third-party services

The App uses Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config) and Google AdMob/User Messaging Platform, described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the App is also subject to Google Play's Terms of Service where applicable. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of these third-party services.

6. No warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the overlay feature will render your screen unreadable to every viewer under every lighting or viewing condition — Tilt Veil reduces visibility at an angle; it is not a guarantee of screen privacy.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PRIVACY, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the App, or your access to it, at any time. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including §4, §6, and §7) will survive.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence, to the extent those laws apply, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer protection rights you may have under mandatory local law.
